Dos alumnes de quart de l’Escola Andorrana de segona ensenyança de Santa Coloma van participar en la Trobada internacional de joves científics de la Unesco, celebrada de l’11 al 14 de gener a Santarém, Portugal.
Enguany, el tema era el canvi climàtic, i els alumnes van fer una presentació plurilingüe sobre els impactes del canvi climàtic a Andorra. Van entrevistar l’expert del CENMA, Marc Pons, i també el meteoròleg, Josep Tomàs. Tots dos ens van proporcionar molta informació sobre com afecta el canvi climàtic al Principat d’Andorra i sobre les mesures d’adaptació i mitigació que s’estan duent a terme.
L’experiència va resultar molt enriquidora per als nostres alumnes, que van conviure amb joves de diversos països, com Alemanya, els Estats Units, Itàlia, Espanya i Portugal, i van gaudir d’activitats culturals i lúdiques amb les quals van aprendre i es van divertir molt.
Two students of the Secondary School of Santa Coloma, in Andorra, participated in the International Forum of Young Scientists organized by UNESCO. It was held in Santarém, Portugal, during 11th-14th January 2017.
The topic of the meeting this year was climate change and our students presented a multilingual project about the impacts of climate change in Andorra. They interviewed Marc Pons, member of CENMA, and Josep Tomàs, weather forecaster. They provided students with a lot of information about the effects of climate change in our country and about the measures taken by the Andorran government to minimize the impact.
The experience was very rewarding for our students. They not only learn a lot but they also shared good moments with people from other countries, such as Germany, the United States, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
